Kim W. Tennal
Hall of Fame Class of 2014

Tennal began her coaching career in 1976 at Quinter High School, taking them to their first state tournament ever in her second year.

She then went to coach at Dawson, Nebraska taking them to the state tournament 4 years in a row before taking over a struggling Centralia program in 1988.

In just her second season she took the Panthers to the state finals.

She led Centralia to their first title in 1994, winning a total of 9 championships, including a state record 8 in a row.

Her record at Centralia in 17 seasons was 582-47, including a 126 match winning streak which is second best in Kansas.  She had 3 undefeated seasons.

She has also won numerous coaching awards and has spoken at several coaching clinics.

Tennal’s Kansas coaching record is 601-61.
